Payment and Cancellation Policy
Josie’s Old Crow Adventures understands that weather and delayed flights are a reality of traveling to a remote community in the winter time. If your arrival time is delayed for these reasons, we will do our best to be flexible and move the times of your adventure at no cost to you. If your adventure is cancelled by us due to extreme cold weather conditions, we will refund the full amount of your adventure if we cannot move it to another day.
Policy for Adventures Costing $199 or less
Payment is due at the time of departure. No deposit required. We ask that you please give us 48 hours notice of your cancellation so that we can book someone else in.
Policy for Adventures costing $200 or more
Josie’s Old Crow adventures requires a 20% deposit at the time of booking for bookings $200 or more. All adventures must be paid in full 48 hours before departure.
Policy for Edith Josie House
Josie’s Old Crow Adventures requires payment by credit card, cheque, or EMT on arrival to Old Crow. Cancellations can be made at no cost up to 2 days before travel. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be required to pay for 1 night stay.
Cold Weather Cancellations
Josie's Old Crow adventures will not run dogsled adventures if the temperature is -35 celcius or colder before windchill. It is too hard on the dogs to run in extreme cold weather conditions.
Skiddoo adventures will be cancelled for extreme cold if the temperature drops below -45 before windchill.

Josie’s Old Crow adventures requires a 20% deposit at the time of booking for bookings $200 or more. All adventures must be paid in full 48 hours before departure.
- Cancellations 2 weeks or more before departure: Payments and deposits are refunded in full up to 15 days before the scheduled adventures.
- Cancellations 8 to 14 days before departure: Josie’s Old Crow Adventures will refund all but 10% of the adventure cost (half of the deposit).
- Cancellations 3-7 days before departure: Josie’s old Crow adventures will refund all but the 20% deposit.
- Cancellations within the last 48 hours before your adventure: Josie’s Old Crow Adventures will do our best to book another adventure for someone else at this time. If we are unable to do so, you will be responsible for the full cost of the adventure.
Policy for Edith Josie House

- Stays at Edith Josie House include airport transportation on arrival and departure. If you opt not to use this ride to the airport, you need to make arrangements with Paul Josie to return the key.
- At this time we do not charge a damage deposit, but guests will be responsible for any damaged or missing items. Please ensure you lock the unit when you are not inside.
